Tequilla Banks is an executive vice president at TNTP, where she co-leads partnerships with school systems, Prior to this role, Tequilla served as a vice president and senior strategist for TNTP. Before joining TNTP, Tequilla worked for nine years in Memphis City Schools, where she oversaw the district-wide effort to improve student outcomes by increasing teacher effectiveness. Tequilla holds a BA in psychology from Yale University and an MA in social work from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville.
